Early Signs of Pregnancy
If you’ve been planning to conceive, you should be aware of the most common, and earliest signs of pregnancy. Being aware of what these signs are, and understanding what they mean, can ease your nerves if you find yourself experiencing these symptoms and panicking.
For example, one common, early sign of pregnancy that most women experience, that might give them a scare, is spotting. Bleeding often occurs one to two weeks after conception, and it is more commonly known as implantation bleeding. This is completely normal and nothing to worry about. The cause of this form of bleeding is simple. Once the fertilized egg implants itself to the uterine wall, a small discharge of blood will occur. This will cause spotting that may lead you to believe something is wrong, but it is normal and very common in the majority women.
It shows as pink or brown discharge, and around one third of all women experience this. It will be spotting and not a steady flow, so it is not to be confused with your period. If you’re nearing your period, you should take a pregnancy test to be sure this isn’t confused with a menstrual cycle.
