Why I Can’t Conceive?

Every couple has a dream to hold their little one in their arms. Some couples get success to become parents on another side some are facing problems to conceive. There may be several reasons behind this. You are trying to get pregnant but every time you fail the possible reasons behind this – Ovulation irregularities, structural problems in the reproductive system, infertility, low semen count, or any other medical condition.

Trying for a long time

The couples need to know till when they are trying to conceive. Every 8 couple of 10 get pregnant within six months of trying but the rest have some problem to conceive rather they are trying for conceiving since too long.

There are some conditions which are generally recommended by the doctor about your fertility if you are – 

  • If you are 35 years old or more then of it, and trying for six to seven months at least.
  • If you are below 35 years and trying for more than a year. 

If you have any one of the conditions then you need consultation whether you have any fertility problem or not.

You are not ovulating

To make a baby the men sperm must meet with the women’s mature egg and fertilize the egg, But if you are not ovulating so there are no chances to conceive. This condition of not having ovulation can be a cause of female infertility; it can trigger some other conditions too. 

If You are having your period on time it does not mean that you are having your ovulation on time, many women are facing problems related to infertility due to no ovulation. If you have irregular menstruation then talk to your doctor even if you are trying for a baby or not.

Always women don’t need to have infertility, in some couples it may be by the men’s side and the reasons for the men’s infertility –

  • Low sperm count
  • Bad semen quality
  • Genetic problem
  • Abnormal semen production
  • Any other medical condition.

Before deciding any specific reason it is mandatory to judge the semen quality. Just make sure when you go for a consultation with the doctor you are both tasted.

Is age a factor for Infertility?

Yes, Age is a genuine factor for infertility. If a woman is about 35 and a man is 40 or more then this. It can be a cause of infertility because the age impacts the egg and semen quality and quantity.

  • Hormonal Issues
  • Disorder in the thyroid gland
  • Gland disorder
  • Structural issues
  • Diabetes
  • Blockage in fallopian tubes
  • Immature eggs
  • Fibroids

Reason for men infertility:

  • Genetic defect
  • Immature ejaculation
  • Injury in reproductive organs
  • Undescended testicles
  • Steroid use
  • Diabetes
  • Low sperm count

  • Poor diet
  • Kidney diseases
  • Consumption of alcohol
  • Stress
